Global Head of Sales, Operations and Marketing

You will lead the global Sales and Marketing activities of Division Digital located at the HQ in Baden, Switzerland. You will define and implement sales and marketing strategies, while proactively leading, developing, and coaching the Marketing & Sales team. You will build the sales mix between internal and external sales and marketing channels. You will build as well and maintain Marketing in the industry to ensure successful market penetration of our digital products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Defining and implementing effective Marketing & Sales initiatives in alignment with global Digital Division strategy.
- Managing the Division's marketing and sales action plans, to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Establishing marketing and sales targets and ensuring their achievement through regular oversight and the definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
- Overseeing market and competitor analysis and market segment definition activities, ensuring the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and metrics.
- Establishing strong customer relationships, gathering and utilizing feedback to continuously improve and maintain positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale.
- Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risk.
- Identifying new business opportunities with current and prospective customers as well as a clear strategy to convert them.
- Building a robust sales organization, with HR support, through best practices, training, and cross-collaboration.
- Guiding, motivating, coaching, and developing the skills, knowledge, and competencies of the Marketing & Sales team.

Your background
- A master's degree in economics or engineering.
- More than 10 years of experience in developing business via multi-channel strategy in the maritime industry as a preference.
- A to-do mindset with a passion for developing and implementing new business.
- Knowledge of software development and familiarity with a digital way of working.
- Experience in marketing, business development, account management, and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products, and service categories.
- Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, customer-focused mindset, and a professional, “can-do” attitude.
- Fluency in English and willingness to international travel are required.
