**Purpose of the Job**
As a Site Controller you will structure processes and governance, as well as act as a strong business partner to the Site Managing Director. You will operate in a very dynamic environment, supporting the transformation and growth of the Services and Digital & Integrated Systems business.
**Your responsibilities**
Financial Management and Controlling
- Responsible for the monthly financial closing and reporting processes
- Carry out site budget, 3 Year Plan, Rolling Forecast
- Provide accurate transparent information, support and performance enablers to the site management team and Assist the Site Managing Director in all financial matters
- Monitor and forecast the financial indicators of the site
- Set targets and control the environment for cost management within the sites to maximize performance
- Manages work package controllers and project managers
Reporting and coordination
- Bring to Site Management, Country Management, Sector Management and Corporate a regular true and fair view of Site activity
- Validate the financial structure of the locations (processes and systems) to satisfy all internal and external requirements
- Comply with the reporting definitions of Alstom guidelines to provide consistent and informative management information and ensure compliance with Internal Control
- Interface with regional and other country finance functions, as well as internal and external auditors
Management
- Coordinate the planning and budgeting scope, activities and schedule of the locations and set targets to produce reliable data, resource plans and budgets
- Manage the site controlling team (3 people)
**Your profile**
- Master’s degree in Financial, Controlling, Accounting and related
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant finance experience
- Site Control experience in manufacturing and/or engineering
- Fluent in English - must have; French - desirable
- Experience in long-term contracts financial management
- Demonstrate integrity, courage, conviction, transparency and reliability
- Collaborative mindset - ability to work in an international environment
- Capacity to analyze, synthesize, challenge
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- Ability to manage big data as a large part of business operations
