At the Visp site, a laboratory technician is sought for the Downstream Process Development group. In our team, purification methods for biomolecules are developed. As a member of our team at Lonza Pharma, Biotech & Nutrition (LPBN) in Visp, Switzerland, you will plan and conduct laboratory experiments for protein purification in close collaboration within project teams.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Prepare and execute experiments in the laboratory
- Document, interpret and report results
- Take responsibility in maintaining equipment and the laboratory
- Assist in the education of new team members and apprentices
**Key requirements**:
- Completed training as a laboratory technician or a Bachelor in Life Sciences
- Experience with chromatography or TFF is a plus
- Flexible and independent
- Good communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Fluent in German or English
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and an affinity for computer-assisted laboratory equipment
