**Make An Impact**

For our EMEA Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, we need an organized, efficient and self-motivated professional. We are currently looking for an
- **Accounting & Controlling Manager **(M/F/x)**Your impact**:

- Overall responsibility for the accounting and month-end close activities for a number of Fossil legal entities in the EMEA region
- Supervise and carry out various activities within the scope of the US GAAP month-end close process, incl. posting and reviewing of accounting journals, as well as partnering with the GBS Team to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare and review and account reconciliations, account variance analysis and perform other control and review activities related to the month-end close
- Partner with FP&A to prepare and present financial reporting to local, regional, and corporate management
- Partner with internal and external auditors to carry out financial statement audits (US GAAP and statutory) and internal control reviews (Sarbanes-Oxley)
- Manage tax activities, liaise with local tax authorities and tax advisors, calculate and record year-end tax accruals and ensure that transfer pricing documentation is up-to-date
- Partner with local authorities to ensure that all statutory reporting requirements are met
- Identify process improvements, develop and implement relevant solutions

**Who you are**:

- Functional expertise in accounting (CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar) and corporate compliance
- Profound analytical capabilities and collaborative approach to business partnering
- In-depth understanding of process design and internal controls effectiveness
- Fluency in English and Italian required
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Strong initiative, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Deadline oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
