**Job Summary**:
The role is a multifaceted, but the primary function is that of general accounting and reporting for both the treasury and the several holding companies based in Switzerland. It involves accounting tasks such as accruals, daily bank transactions, foreign exchange, hedge accounting, etc., as well as taking care of external compliance requirements (tar returns and financial accounts annual filings). First hand experience in SAP or other similar ERP system is essential as well as financial reporting tools such as OneStream or HFM. The role will also be involved in assisting with both internal as well as external audits so prior audit experience would be desired. Having experience in legal entitites restructuring projects such as mergers/dissolution of businesses would also be greatly beneficial.

**Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities**:

- General treasury accounting of the treasury function involving IC loans; hedge accounting; Cash Pool; banks, etc
- Contact person for external and internal auditors
- Maintain SOX documentation (narratives, SOX controls matrices, UARs, etc) and ensure timely submissions.
- Financial reporting in OneStream (monthly closing, forecasting and budget)
- Impairment testing of investments using the DCF valuation model.
- Lead or participate in special improvement projects or assignments within Finance area and especially within the accounting area.
- Experience in tax (monthly accruals of income tax and deferred taxes; Return-to-Provision preparation; tax declaration).
- Assist with ad hoc tasks related to accounting/compliance as needed.

- Support Xylem internal audit program by assisting with SOX audits when possible

**Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification**:

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong Accounting Skills
- Audit experience
- Fluent in English
- Experience in US GAAP, Swiss GAAP (FER) & Luxembourg GAAP desirable
- Experience with SOX/Internal Controls
- Ability to adapt and manage change quickly
- Ability to work with people from many different departments
