**Infrastructure Solution Architect**

**Start Date**: ASAP - we can accommodate a normal 4-week notice period

**Contract Length**: 6 Months + Extension

**Location**:REMOTE within Swiss Borders

**Pay**: CHF 90 Hour - CHF 120 Hour

**Languages**: English ONLY

I am working with a leading Pharmaceutical company that is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join their team on a remote basis within Switzerland on an initial 6-month contract.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that would be able to start this project as soon as possible, however, we can accommodate a reasonable notice period.

The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for planning and designing the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the Enterprise Architecture plan as well as internal policies and standards.

This role function sits within the Infrastructure department serving as a technical architect across the infrastructure field. As a member of the Global Infrastructure team, the role provides support across all company's sites.

The Documentation associated with Change Management, System Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures is a key feature of this role.

- Networking (CISCO Catalyst)
- SQL / Postgres
- Veeam & Acronis Backup
- Citrix
- Windows & linux based physical and virtual servers & workstations (GPO Management, PS Scripts, AD Administration)
- OpenShift Containerization
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Single Point of Contact for any infrastructure-related topics at the sites for external service providers providing governance and definition of standards.
- Drive continuous improvements, standardization, and harmonization, to champion technical excellence, automation and simplification and to create an environment for innovation within the infrastructure systems.
- Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing infrastructure environments through the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of well-documented standards and procedures for the implementation of scalable technical solutions
- Manage and drive the implementation o Infrastructure related projects to ensure they are completed in accordance with project goals, time scales and costs
- Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within scope
- Supporting the life cycle management of infrastructure required for business operations
