Are you a seasoned procurement professional seeking a dynamic leadership role? Vetropack is currently seeking a highly skilled Group Procurement Manager to join our team.

**Position overview**:
As the Group Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all** strategic procurement operations **and overseeing **operational purchasing** for the Vetropack group.

In this key position, you will be responsible for steering group strategic procurement initiatives, providing leadership to lead buyers, and developing tailored procurement strategies aligned with the Vetropack group's overarching objectives. Additionally, you will ensure the implementation of consistent operational purchasing guidance across the organization, empowering local Purchasing Managers to drive operational excellence in a standardized manner.

**Key responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Strategy**: Develop Procurement Strategy based on Vetropack’s group strategy and support lead buyers to develop their respective material group strategy.
- **Leadership**: Functional and disciplinary responsibility for lead buyer organization and indirect operational guidance/leadership for local Purchasing Manager.
- **KPI Reporting & Target Setting**: Responsible for regular status reports for management containing insights on product group strategies, procurement targets and KPI Reporting (e.g., savings and cost avoidance).
- **Stakeholder Management**: Represent Vetropack group procurement to external customers, suppliers, or partners (e.g., at trade fairs, in working groups, associations, etc.)
- **Process Improvement**: Responsible for continuous evaluation and improvement of procurement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness and enable Procurement Excellence to drive change on local and group level.
- **Claim Management**: Manage claims in close collaboration with Quality department for strategic materials and suppliers.
- **Spare Part Strategy**: Set up spare part strategy in close collaboration with Maintenance/Engineering department for strategic materials and suppliers.
- **Raw Material Inventory**: Optimize working capital based on raw material conditions (e.g. order lot sizes, lead time, price) in close collaboration with Logistics & Supply Planning for strategic materials and suppliers.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 7 years of experience in procurement, minimum 5 in similar function
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with KPIs/reporting
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level minimum)
