**Your Role**:
As a People Intern, you will support the People department with recruiting and onboarding new employees and working on projects along the entire employee lifecycle. You will also contribute to operational accounting tasks and employee engagement event planning, i.e. company retreats, coworking events, and other projects, as needed.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supports the overall recruitment and selection process
- Assists with onboarding new employees
- Supports employees throughout their employee lifecycle regarding legal and administrative topics
- Organises employee engagement-focused events such as coworking and retreats
- Researches and secures venues
- Proposes team activities
- Promotes and schedules events internally
- Works closely with the People Manager to identify solutions to support the needs of the organisation
- Supports the Head of Accounting with internal operational tasks if needed
- Takes on the role office management to make everyone's day at the office brighter by:

- Organising location events in Zurich, like the weekly lunch club
- Ensuring the kitchen cupboards are filled with snacks
- Planning and executing company wide online meetings

**Your Profile**:
**Required**
- Outstanding attention to detail and follow-up is essential
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) required
- Ability to use independent judgment and discretion to recommend the best course of action
- Ability to document processes thoroughly
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation both verbally and in writing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive, confidential information is required
- Full proficiency in English and German is required, any other language is a plus

**Nice to have**
- Experience using Greenhouse
- Experience using Personio as an HRM
- Currently enrolled in or completed bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, human resources, business management or a comparable degree
