About Rivero

Rivero is a successful fintech scale-up founded in early 2019. We are on a mission to enable banks and financial institutions to automate complex processes most simply and efficiently. In this way, banks can focus on delighting their customers with streamlined digital interfaces. We fall into both the #FinTech and the #RegTech domain.

Tasks

What you can expect from the job

As a payment domain expert, your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with product teams to develop product specifications in the areas of scheme compliance, dispute management, and payment processing.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of payment network specifications, rules, and regulations.
- Help develop and implement payment strategies aligned with the scheme network capabilities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with the relevant people from the different payment schemes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product decisions and strategy.

**Requirements**:
What we are looking for

- A highly motivated self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to take ownership and drive things ahead.
- You are competent in English. German and other languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex compliance matters to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in the payment industry with exposure to Mastercard, Visa or other premium scheme networks.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, dispute management and scheme compliance or other scheme-related topics.
- Good understanding with payment network protocols, including EMV, tokenization, and 3-D Secure.
- Familiarity with payment processing technologies and standards (ISO 8583, ISO 20022, PCI DSS).
- Familiarity with technical concepts and software development processes can be advantageous.
