Human by nature.**Head of Data & Analytics - Your future role?**
- As a Head of Data & Analytics, based in Vernier (Geneva), you will foster value creation through the organization’s data assets including internal and external data ecosystem, and envision and drives data-enabled strategies enabling business outcomes.**As a member of the IT Management Committee, you will**:

- Primary management and operational accountabilities- Define data, AI, and analytics strategy. Drive the development and deployment of the enterprise’s data and analytics architecture, governance technologies, and data solutions. Work with executives to establish the vision for managing data as a business asset
- Oversee the development and deployment of the enterprise’s data and analytics platform.
- Accountable for providing thought leadership across the data science and analytics function, shaping strategy for opportunity creation.
- Identify new kinds, types, and sources of data to enable business innovation throughout the organization. Create and oversee a centralized service for sourcing external data to ensure quality, traceability, timeliness, usability, and cost-effectiveness. Define processes for the effective, integrated introduction of new data.
- Foster the creation of a data-driven culture, related competencies, and data literacy across the enterprise and lead these transformation efforts.
- Lead the development, publishing, and maintenance of the organization’s information architecture, as well as a roadmap for its future development, ensuring that it matches and enables digital strategy and all business needs.
- Lead, develop, and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts, for use by analysts throughout the organization.
- Develop, manage, allocate, and govern the annual budget for the data and analysis initiatives.
- Regulatory and compliance
- Define and manage enterprise information management principles, policies, and programs for stewardship, advocacy, and custodianship of data and analytics, in concert with legal, information security, and corporate risk and compliance offices.
- Develop and maintain controls on data quality, interoperability, and sources to effectively manage the corporate risk associated with the use of data and analytics.
- Define, manage and ensure an adequate information trust model, controls for master data and metadata management, including reference data. Measures master data and reference data for compliance with policy, standards, and conceptual models. Assure the deployment and management of data quality monitoring practices.
- Partner with Head of Information Security and develop policies and controls for the appropriate protection of enterprise information assets through a life cycle, from creation to disposal.
- Ensure that the data used for financial reporting and to support legal requirements is valid, reliable, traceable, timely, available, secure, and consistent. Ensure that appropriate audit controls exist for data and analytics that serve as the source material for regulatory reports. Ensure that business reports derived from controlled data are consistent and representative of the true state of the business.
- Lead regulatory and compliance programs related to data and analytics assets.
- Organize and lead a data and analytics governance council to provide executive sponsorship for and oversight of government policy creation and compliance.
- Member of the core team interacting with regulators, and representing the enterprise to customers, suppliers, and external bodies in the development of industry data and analytics standards if and when applicable.

**Your professional profile includes**:

- Academic Background
- A master’s degree or any relevant degree in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Academic qualification or professional training and experience in legal and regulatory areas are also desirable.
