Unsere Gruppe untersucht den Teufelskreis zwischen der Verschlechterung der Schlafqualität und dem kognitiven Abbau im Alter. Wir konzentrieren uns auf die Beziehung zwischen gesundem Schlaf, Gedächtnisfunktionen und der Beseitigung von Stoffwechselabfallprodukten wie Amyloid-Beta. Durch den Einsatz nicht-invasiver Techniken zur Verbesserung des Schlafs versuchen wir, diesen Teufelskreis zu durchbrechen. In diesem Projekt verwenden wir tragbare Geräte, um den Schlaf älterer Freiwilliger mit subjektivem kognitiven Abbau oder leichter kognitiver Beeinträchtigung über mehrere Wochen hinweg bequem von zu Hause aus zu messen und akustisch zu stimulieren. Wir messen kognitive Fähigkeiten mit Hilfe von ansprechenden "serious games" auf Tablets und Stoffwechselabfallprodukte mit Blutproben.

**Ihre Aufgaben**:
Die/der erfolgreiche Kandidat:in wird an einem großen Längsschnittprojekt zur Messung von Schlaf und kognitiven Funktionen bei älteren Erwachsenen mit subjektivem kognitivem Abbau oder leichter kognitiver Beeinträchtigung arbeiten. Zu den Aufgaben gehören:

- Rekrutierung von Teilnehmern, Datensammlung und Studienmanagement
- Analyse von Schlaf-EEG und neurokognitiven Daten
- Präsentation von Ergebnissen, Verfassen von Manuskripten und Publikation in Fachzeitschriften

**Ihr Profil**:

- Master-Abschluss in Psychologie, Neurowissenschaften, oder einem verwandten Fach, Durchschnittsnote 5,0
- Exzellente Deutsch
- und Englischkenntnisse (C1, schriftlich und mündlich)
- Kenntnisse in experimentellen Methoden und Statistik
- Fähigkeit und Bereitschaft, mit älteren Personen und ihren Familienmitgliedern in deren Zuhause zu arbeiten. Bereitschaft, nachts erreichbar zu sein
- Hoch motivierte, eigenständige, konzeptionell-logische Problemlöser mit Lernbereitschaft und Teamgeist
- Programmierkenntnisse (z. B. Matlab oder R) und/oder Erfahrung im Bereich machine learning von Vorteil, Bereitschaft zum Erlernen des Programmierens erforderlich
