Job Description:
Internship: Data Science - Cheminformatics (M/F)

Your main accountabilities as Data Science Intern will be:

- Compile and analyze experimental data using Electronic Laboratory Notebook platform.
- Participate in the development of novel cheminformatics representation and featurization methods (algorithms) specific to polymers.
- Development of machine learning models for structure - property relations prediction.
- Document data processing scripts and data workflows
- Automation of manual processes for dashboards.

Requirements:

- Master’s degree or enrolled in a Master Program in computer science, material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of data analytics and IT tools, experience with electronic lab notebook would be an asset.
- Programming skills (Python preferred).
- Knowledge in chemistry/ material science (ideally polymers) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team with good communication skills
- Passion to learn and a continuous improvement mindset
- Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
