**Presentation**:
In order to complement its team, the School of Criminal Sciences within the Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences and Public Administration is seeking a graduate assistant.

**Job information**:
Expected start date in position : October 1st, 2023, or as agreed upon

Contract length : 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years

Activity rate : 80 %

Workplace : Lausanne-Dorigny

**Your responsibilities**:

- 50 % of the workload is dedicated to conducting a doctoral thesis in criminology;
- 50 % of the workload is devoted to teaching and research activities, students supervision, administrative tasks and participation in the life and governance of the School of Criminal Sciences.

**Your qualifications**:

- Master's degree in criminology, social sciences or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies;
- Experience in using software such as SPSS, Stata or R and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a research team;
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, initiative, attention to detail and meeting deadlines;
- Willingness to conduct a doctoral thesis in criminology on economic and/or organized crime and to participate in research projects/international exchanges (e.g. GLITTS Program CA21133);
- Interest in applied research and organizing scientific events;
- Excellent proficiency in French and English languages.
