Accountant (Emea)

Power Integrations Finance team in Biel is responsible for all Finance activities related to the European entities of the group. This means Accounts Payable, Payroll, GL, Intercompany accounting for our Swiss, German, Italian, UK and Netherlands offices.
- Responsibilities_
- Accounts Payable including vendor management, bookings, payments, accruals and reconciliations of sub-ledgers with General Ledger
- Employee expense reports and credit card billings including ensuring appropriate authorizations, bookings, payments, accruals and reconciliations
- General Ledger accounting from bookings to BS accounts reconciliations as per periodic schedule
- Intercompany positions reconciliation
- Preparation of payroll in collaboration with service providers for our Swiss, German and Italian office
- Preparation and booking of the payroll entries
- Fixed asset transactions such as additions, depreciations, retirements, transfers and adjustments for capital assets and ensuring adherence to company policies in respect of depreciation and capitalization. Ensure reconciliation of sub-ledgers with General Ledger
- Participate in the continuous improvements of the organization and its processes
- Supporting internal and external auditing and controlling functions
- Education and Experience_
- Commercial education, accounting degree a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English and German or French, third language a plus
- Ability to work independently and deliver on responsibilities within a highly collaborative environment
- Team spirit, high level of commitment and independent working style with a structured approach to work
- Attention to detail and sense of confidentiality
- Good skills in Excel and other Microsoft tools
