Infrastructure Security & Compliance Lead

ABB’s Electrification (EL) Business Area is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.
In this role you will be acting as the conveyor belt between the Infosec & Compliance teams and the Infrastructure organization. You will be collaborating in the development of long-term security strategies and the management of implementation and execution, this role ensures that IS Infrastructure meets all mandated security standards & policies, effectively controls and coordinates the operationalization of mitigation actions and assists in assessing security risks and exception management. You will also be proactive in facing and resolving new challenges in the security and compliance areas related to new technologies. You will be reporting to EL Head of IS Infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Building collaborative partnerships with InfoSec, Compliance and GBS to ensure that directives, policies, frameworks, are not established in isolation and by working as one virtual team ensures consistent frameworks for ABB.
- Being accountable in collaboration with the rest of the EL Infrastructure team.
- Ensuring that activities required to protect the company from the security perspective are properly implemented.
- Ensuring that activities required to comply with all regulations that the EL business area in ABB is attached to are run on time, at quality and on budget.
- Supporting the Infosec team from the Infrastructure side to properly respond to security incidents.
- Co-ordinating regular internal audits together with Compliance and Infosec teams.
- Acting as a change enabler within the Infrastructure team.

Your background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related qualification, and/or demonstrated capability through past employment experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT Security and other operational IT roles.
- Extensive experience in delivering IT security projects, assessments and audits and building and/or running IT Security teams.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to challenge decisions of others.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of infrastructure security (data center hosting, networks, end user services, collaboration).
- Ability to support information security audits.
- Profound knowledge of ISO 27001/2 standard.
- Ability to manage multi-cultural and multi-located teams.
- Strong customer / end-user / client service orientation.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Excellent English (written & spoken).
