Analytical Chemist

Job Description:
To support our Process Development Team and Operations within the Advanced Materials division, we are looking for a highly talented and motivated Analytical Chemist: On-line Process Analytical Technology. The position is a full-time contract located in Monthey, Switzerland.

As part of the Process Development team, you will join a team of motivated scientists dedicated to developing and implementing solutions to support the development and manufacturing of Advanced Materials. Within this group, you will contribute to the improvement of the Process Analytical Technology (PAT), focusing on the on-line technology. You will work in a project team-based environment and lead local and global deployment strategy of continuous analytical technologies from laboratories to full scale manufacturing, creating competitive advantages through your technical expertise and innovation. Working as part of a dynamic and well-established Process Development group, you will report directly to the Process Development Manager and work in close collaboration with the Analytical Development team.

As Online Analytical Chemist, You Will- Be the local and global expert in the field of On-line Process Analytical Technology.- Select, develop, and implement On-line Process Analytical Technology from Lab to production.- Maximize the chances of success for projects by collaborating with other function: Analytical development team Production, QC and Quality Assurance, collect their needs and constraints, and ensure alignment with them.- Develop Business Cases to extract the best value for the Company.- Support Process Scale-up and introduction in production- Support the development and implementation of continuous manufacturing technology.- OTIF (on time in full) delivery of agreed projects and tasks- Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environmental guidelines according to site and company standards.- Travel across the sites, to visit the plants / develop networks and understand their needs / infrastructure and focus on initiatives the larger project.

**Requirements**:
- MS or PhD in Analytical Chemistry; Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.- Or non-University graduates with several years of highly relevant experience in this area of online Process Analytical Technology.- Expert knowledge in the areas of continuous/on-line Process Analytical Technology- Experience in process development is an asset.- Natural leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven and highly motivated.- Accountable, reliable, and efficient team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills associated with strong work ethics.- Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills- Fluent oral and written French skills, good oral and written English skills, other language is an asset.
