The Role
Focused on ensuring uninterrupted supply of direct and indirect materials to our site, you will be part of an impactful team, supporting both organizational and personal growth.
You will be responsible for translating production requirements into a materials’ supply plan for assigned suppliers. You will manage their performance partnering with Global Procurement and Supplier Quality.
You will demonstrate end-to-end planning thinking and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance supply reliability, responsiveness, and agility, while considering warehouse capacity and supporting inventory targets.
In this role you will combine strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management and communication skills to deliver superior operational performance. Your structured problem solving, and digital savviness will help the team achieving its business and digitalization targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage externally procured materials planning and perform the procure to pay cycle for assigned portfolio, including handling inbound material activities.
- Perform supplier S&OP review to meet performance targets. Provide forecast, collaborate with the supplier to ensure capacity availability, and anticipate and manage supply constraints.
- Partner with Supply Quality, Product Owner and key Global Procurement stakeholders in the resolution of Supplier Investigations.
- Manage inventory of assigned materials (on hand, safety, slob, destructions).
- Drive continuous improvement projects simplifying processes, boosting efficiency and agility, and supporting design and deployment of digital solutions.
**Qualifications**:
We’re looking for:
- An individual with a growth mindset and ambition to succeed for future.
- You have 3 to 5 years of relevant Supply Chain Management experience, including buying exposure in a multi-national, fast-paced environment. Pharma experience is preferred.
- You have a relevant bachelor’s degree. A master’s degree is preferred. Continuous improvement and /or APICS qualification would be advantageous.
- You master SAP MM and MS Office (particularly large data excel manipulation) and have a strong interest to learn and deploy other digital (Alteryx) and visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.).
- You have very strong interpersonal and communication skills (English and German, written and oral). You are flexible and can effectively respond to changing priorities.
- Your excellent analytical skills help you translating complex and ambiguous situations into clear business insights and needs.
- You’re a strong change agent, passionate about continuous improvement, with a consistent record transforming processes and elevating team skills.
