**Responsibilities**:

- You support the component inspection engineer for the inspection of engine parts after durability and field tests
- You are responsible to keep up to date component inspection planning
- You define the tasks and measurements to do during the engine tear down and participate in the check before and after disassembly
- You use devices for part inspection: digital camera, microscope, borescope and liner scanner
- You prepare and cut parts such as cylinderhead or piston to check inside coolant circuit or oil gallery
- You initiate inspection reports based on inputs from the component inspection engineer
- You are in charge of discussing with stakeholders to collect inputs needed to prepare disassembly requests
- You ensure the completion of reporting activities to collaborating engineers

**Competencies**:

- You have mechanical training in heavy duty engines or technician training (Federal Patent diagnostician Educational BTS)
- Workshop experience and/or TestBench experience is a plus
- You have specific trainings in the scope of combustion engines, mechanisms of failure for engine components and have advanced knowledge in material composition and structure
- You have at least 2 years experience in engine or mechanical development
- You are linguistically proficient in English, additional French or German knowledge would be an asset
- You differentiate yourself with your analytical thinking skills, engagement, flexibility and resilience when facing professional challenges. You enjoy working in a team and are proactively autonomous
