Accountant - Jr

- What you will be doing
Support the monthly billing process consisting of the generation and distribution of fee for services invoices, including backup details, for our manufacturer customers.
- Work in close collaboration with AmerisourceBergen corporate (shared services) and local teams to solve and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Process incoming (customer) payments as well as continuously monitor accounts receivable, including taking dunning and collection measures if deemed necessary.
- Review, and process accounts payable invoices, ensure timely payments and collaborate with vendors to address issues (if any).
- Update purchase order tracker keeping the vendor list up-to-date, bank details and backup information.
- Ensure new (or changes to existing) vendors are set up and communicated to AmerisourceBergen Shared Services (US) in a timely manner with the required documentation.
- Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and global accounting teams on monthly financial close activities, such as preparing bank account reconciliations, intercompany records and general ledger journal entries.
- Provide support to the accounting department on various accounting and audit related tasks.
- Assist with company initiatives and projects in terms of financial analyses as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
