In this role, you will provide technical understanding and leadership for new and ongoing water based ink projects. You will also Develop new inks and coatings for industrial inkjet printers
and support existing inks and products in the field.

**Mission & Key responsibilities**
- Manage and adhere to demanding timelines in complex projects.
- Be an efficient actor within the raw material provider network
- Manage a small group of chemists mainly technicians.
- Implement new technologies in digital printing and deposition.
- Be responsible for full projects from concept to commercialization.
- Be responsible for managing performance and support for ink sets in industrial printers.
- Be responsible for detailed reporting on project progress.
- Serve as a technical resource for the broader ink group and inkjet organization in defined areas.
- Prioritize and manage resources to accomplish project and organizational goals.
- Define and implement technical problem-solving methodologies.
- Work independently and within a cross functional team environment.
- Summarize and present technical data clearly and appropriately.

Skills and Experience
- Be proficient in chemistry/physical Sciences (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Printing, Formulation), MS or PhD preferred.
- Have leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Have at least 5 years printing or related industry experience is a plus.
- Be experienced in water based inks and coating development.
- Have experiences with inkjet technology is a plus
- Have demonstrated success bringing products from concept (R&D stage) to commercialization.
- Be an action-oriented, hands-on leader - able to be effective in a low-infrastructure, fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Be passionate, innovative and motivating.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
