**Main purpose of the role**

To deliver individual or group, extracurricular violin classes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Tutor students from age 7 to 18, skills and musicianship on violin.
- Encourage and engage students in progressive practice habits, liaising with parents and boarding tutors.
- Teach all aspects of musicianship, including aural, sight-reading, and repertoire.
- Accompany other instrumentalists in the Extra-Curricular programme, occasionally
- Take responsibility for teaching violin practical exams.
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Competencies**
- Enthusiasm.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced English and French required.
- A bachelor's degree in music education or performance or a related field.
- Experience working with youth and/or beginner musicians.

**Conditions**

The extracurricular classes take place from 4 p.m. and depend on the demand.

Type of contract: on call

Hourly salary: CHF 85.
