Principal Wireless SOC Architect

**Job description**:
As the Principal level Wireless SOC Architect, you have overall IC expertise, and you will serve as the design leader of the whole wireless IoT SoC. You will lead a highly skilled team of system, analog, digital, and software engineers focusing on cross functional requirements and issues. You are expected to define and realize the complete IC architecture for our future low-power battery and battery-free wireless products:
**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Define the state-of-the-art IC architecture for our next generation low-power SoCs from conception and design, through test and production.
- Lead the cross-functional system optimization.
- Lead the integration of IP blocks within a larger SoC, package and PCB while mitigating coupling and emissions issues.
- Lead the solutions to complex cross-functional problems related to the SoCs.
- Benchmark competitive solutions and IPs, study technology and standard trends, contribute to the BU’s wireless roadmap.

**Profile**:
Background requirements:

- At least a Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with specialization or experience in digital design, IoT, or IC (PhD preferred).
- At least 15 years of experience in the field of CMOS RF SoCs design, including experience in more advanced process nodes such as 22nm, and circuit implementations below 1V.
- Proven experience of putting low-power RF transceivers into production.

**Professional requirements**:
Excellent understanding and experience are expected in the following areas:

- Wireless product requirements, architectures, and communication protocols (experience in Bluetooth LE is a plus)
- Use of state-of-the-art IC design/simulation tools and methodologies, and measurement instruments/analyzers.
- Industrialization, qualification (for production) and certification of wireless solutions.

**Languages**:

- Fluent in oral/written English is a must.
- Other languages (especially French or German) a plus.
