**Head of Internal Communications**:

The Head of Internal Communications is responsible for the development and implementation of the group internal communications strategy and plan to increase awareness of ABB’s direction and strategy and build engagement globally with internal stakeholders. Reporting to the ABB’s Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer, the Head of Internal Communications is part of the Communications Leadership Team. This position is based in Zurich.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and best practices in internal communications, define the strategy and support its implementation across the organization.
- Develop and implement a business-aligned internal communications strategy and plan, targeting Top Management and all ABB employees, covering all group level channels including internal conferences, Intranet, and Yammer. Ownership of company intranet (Inside+).
- Provide the other ABB Corporate functions and Executive Committee members with targeted internal communications advice and activities.
- Support key ABB executives with dedicated communications materials including briefings, presentations, speeches, and articles.
- Lead and develop a team of communications specialists and actively contribute to the development of Corporate Communications and the whole Communications function across all of ABB.
- Build a strong network across the ABB Communications community to aid alignment across the organization and transfer of best practices, actively contribute to cross-business and cross-corporate functions communications projects.
- Collaborate with other leaders and teams in ABB Communications to ensure communications excellence, relevance and consistency between internal and external messages and across all communications channels.
- Be responsible for content and moderating internal management and or employee conferences and meetings.

**Your background**:

- Experienced communicator with 15+ years of experience from working with communications in an international company, preferably in a decentralized organizational model.
- Excellent strategic mindset and ability to navigate complex environment. Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Interested in the business and driven by contributing to company success.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Solutions oriented mindset, structured, gets things done and on time.
- Strong inner drive to make a difference and contribute.
