Working Student

**Starting date: January 2025**:
**Fixed term contract 6 months, 10% - half day per week
HD is redesigning and integrating grant financial reports into our new online Jet Analytics data source, using Jet Report as Business Intelligence tool.

The working student will contribute to this work by supporting BI and Financial Data Specialist.

This role will provide you with hands-on experience in financial reporting, data management, and ERP systems, while working closely with our finance team.

Reporting to the Budget design, BI and Finance data specialist, the student will have the following responsibilities:
**Redesign of Financial Reports**:

- Work with team members to understand existing financial reports and their structures.
- Redesign current financial reports to utilize the new data source, Jet Analytics.
- Ensure that redesigned reports are accurate, user-friendly, and meet business needs.

**Creation of New Financial Reports**:

- Prepare and create financial reports for Grant management and other finance-related templates.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify key data points and ensure comprehensive report coverage.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Analyze existing financial reports and suggest improvements for better efficiency and clarity.
- Assist in implementing any enhancements to optimize report functionality and accessibility.

**Ǫualifications and skills**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Basic understanding of ERP systems, BI and financial reporting;
- English professional level, French an added value;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent attention to details;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
