**Key Activities & Accountabilities**
- Use talent, skill, and knowledge of best practice to film, produce and edit short-form materials in a quick turnaround environment using new and archived materials
- Manage creative process with internal and external clients to enhance and broaden the final product
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and their respective creative teams
- Manage projects independently with mínimal supervision
- Plan and perform video post-production tasks including reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, logging, rough cuts, making audio adjustments, making colour correction, and finalizing editing including subtitles
- Work to a brief, and an outline of footage and/or a shot list or script
- Monitor all technical aspects of recording and editing
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to IMD's specifications
- Collaborate with stakeholders from production to post-production process

Within this role you will develop, produce, edit, and deliver high quality, powerful and engaging films to produce material that captures our mission and values. You will edit archive and existing footage, whilst employing new techniques and new approaches to engage and excite audiences.

**Education**

A Bachelor of Fine Arts in communications, media, visual art, film, television, multimedia or graphic design

**Experience**
- Minimum of five years' relevant media experience in film production, agency work, or broadcast journalism environment
- Experience in editing and encoding video using Adobe Premiere or other professional video editing software
- Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, transitions and automated subtitles

**Competencies**
- Native English or native-level proficiency
- Ability to produce high quality videos, and edit
- Be able to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to other team members
- Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
- A high level of self-motivation, commitment, and dedication
- Stay cool under pressure, manage multiple projects at the same time and deliver on deadlines
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and being able to work as part of a team is a must
- Ability to work with teams remotely
- Able to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet deadlines
