FenX is a spin-off from ETH Zurich. We tackle the world’s energy and greenhouse gas challenge by bringing technology and innovation to the building insulation market. Our first impact product is a high-performance building insulation panel incorporating mineral waste materials. It is cost effective, fully recyclable and has a low CO2 footprint. Building owners, architects and sustainability consultants want to deploy it. Now it requires production at scale.

Tasks
- You excel at the planning and realization of our first industrial production line in collaboration with external and internal partners.
- You contribute with your technical know-how and lead the project team effectively, adhering to budgets, deadlines, and quality specifications while considering safety and sustainability.
- You work across all phases of the project tending to requirement management, concept development, process engineering designs, processing of P&I schematics, specification of equipment and components etc.
- You procure the technical equipment and installation services, execute the commissioning and lead the handover to operations.

**Requirements**:

- Higher technical education as engineer MSc FH/ETH in process engineering or similar
- At least 3 years of progressing professional experience in the planning and realization of plant engineering projects (building materials, chemicals, food)
- Your expertise extends across all phases of the project from concept/preliminary designs to detailed engineering incl. P&ID
- Familiarity with relevant national regulations and guidelines (incl. QHSE)
- Fluent in English and German
- Professional demeanour, high level of confidentiality and good negotiation skills
- “Make it happen” personality with high quality and cost awareness while always keeping sustainability at the forefront of decision making
- Self-starter with the ability to react flexibly to opportunities and challenges
- Team player who knows how to effectively collaborate with people of different backgrounds
- Work permit in Switzerland or EU citizenship required
