For our location in **Steinhausen ZG** we are looking for a skilled addition to our team as

**Project Buyer f/m/d 100%
**Your area of responsibility: **

Define supply chain inside projects in close teamwork with Engineering, Planning and Commodity Managers 
Organize material for prototype (fast lane) with involvement of suppliers in EU and Asia 
Launch Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP incl. date and cost controlling 
Execute Request for Quotation (RFQ) process incl. benchmark and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) 
Negotiate prices based on open calculation incl. lead-time and total cost 
Initiate Quantity Contracts (QCs’), e.g., for Long Lead Items (LLI) by launching Pre-Sourcing Request 
Organize phase in new products in Operational Purchasing in Asia (Malaysia and China)

**Our requirements: **

You have a technical or commercial education and/or finished studies 
Approx. 5 years experience in similar position in an international environment 
Strong knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes defines you 
You maintain and provide current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends 
Very good knowledge of German and English is your feature bonus 
We are looking for a communicative, team and customer-oriented negotiator who is willing to travel

occasionally within Europe
