Intern Package Development

**Intern Package Development **(6-months full-time)**

Location: All Synthes sites Switzerland

Reports to the Senior Package Development Engineer or Package Development Engineer.

**Overall Responsibilities /Zweck der StelleIntern**:
Packaging Development, participates in multiple projects in different stages, supporting area of design, development and testing of new/existing packaging components and packaging systems to deeply understand packaging requirements and regulations. Intern Packaging Development works with guidance of Senior Package Development Engineer or Package Development Engineer.

**Position Duties and Responsibilities /Beschrieb von Aufgaben - und Verantwortungsgebiet**
- Supports packaging development project deliverables:

- Design and development of packaging for medical devices.
- Preparation of packaging related documents to implement robust and fully compliant packaging solutions.
- Participation in process improvement activities.
- Involvement in innovative projects to implement new packaging solutions to meet evolving customers' needs.
- Independent work on small packaging development subprojects.
- Support all packaging development pillars to deeply understand packaging related activities within the whole department.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Preparation of packaging test plans to validate packaging components and packaging processes
- Participation in performance of Packaging Transit Qualification to deeply understand packaging related testing
- Interpretation of testing results
- learn and support frontend Package Development, involvement in design and concept development
- understanding of production processes as well as manufacturability of new design concepts
- support VOCs and various documentation/reporting
