**Project**:
For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for a **Calibration Technician.**

**Background**:
In your role as a calibration technician, you will be responsible for the professional and GMP-compliant execution and documentation of calibration activities in your area of responsibility and ensure the flow of information to your supervisor in the event of any special incidents.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
Carrying out and documenting calibrations using a validated calibration system (Blue Mountain RAM)
- Coordinating calibration activities with production according to the order list
- Supporting the creation of calibration regulations and conducting training courses
- Assisting in the commissioning and qualification of new systems
- Optimizing processes and constructive cooperation with other departments to fulfill the tasks described

**Must-Haves**:
Technical training in the relevant field of activity, e.g. automation engineer/electrician/EMS
- Experience in calibrating measuring devices in the field of biotechnological, chemical or galenic production as well as extensive knowledge of various measuring instruments and principles/service/maintenance
- Experience in working in a GMP environment
- Independent and precise way of working
- Initiative and willingness to continuously optimize and improve work processes
- Ability to work in a team and constructive cooperation in the calibration group
- Willingness to work in 2 shifts (Mon-Fri 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)
- Willingness to provide on-call services
- Good IT skills (Computerized Calibration Management System, MS Office, Google)
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
