As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).
**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for coordination and management of all quality notifications (QNs) for experimental aircrafts, prototype/pre-series aircraft and serial production
Filter and prioritize the resolution of QNs. Align with program and project priorities
Ensure completeness in QNs. Liaise and align with the production organization and flight test teams
Ensure the concessions are completed and signed in accordance with Kopter’s DOA processes
Keep regular contact with customer support to collect feedback from the customer fleet and equally promote root cause analysis by the DO
Ensure proper cascading of information to the stakeholders (CE, aircraft managers, office of airworthiness)
Your qualifications & experience
Must hold an Engineering degree or a proven record in comparable function
Minimum 4 years professional experience in the aviation industry
Has a sound knowledge about DOH/DAS/QMS
Experience in Part 21 and knowledge of CS-27 requirements
Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) standards & principles in aviation
Project Management knowledge an asset
Ability to deal with different systems/disciplines, documentation, databases, and entities in parallel
