Power Originator

DXT Commodities SA is a leading international trading firm based in Lugano and specialized in energy commodities, which owes its success to continuous investment in research and cutting-edge technologies, as well as to its highly skilled and motivated team.

Among other activities, DXT purchases electricity directly from renewable power plants and optimizes its value on the market, thereby contributing to the growth of green technologies and the reduction of greenhouse emissions in the environment.

We are looking for a highly motivated and out-going person who will be assisting the Power Origination team in managing its strong network within the renewable energy industry, and structuring power off-take contracts to fulfill the needs of our growing customer base.

Key responsibilities:

- Support the Power Origination team to further develop its portfolio of renewable clients in Europe (with focus in Italy)
- Analyze and monitor the development of the Italian renewable market (wind, solar, hydro, biomass)
- Assist in all contract drafting and documentation management
- Continuously develop and improve the tools and databases used by the team
- Network within the power community through conferences, industry associations and personalized meetings

**Requirements**:

- University degree in business or engineering
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Italian (other languages are a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal qualities and proven ability to communicate with people
- Result-oriented person, able to work in team and deliver results under a fast changing environment
- Willingness to travel
- Interest in energy markets and passion for renewable technologies
- No minimum working experience required (1 to 2 years is a plus)
