Cyber Security Expert

Leveraging our parent company MSC Group's hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented ‘Cyber Security Expert’ to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys” to support the enhancement of Cyber Security requirements. In this role you will work with the organization in the Geneva office and in alignment with the Cyber security Framework and with the directions provided by the Corporate Cyber Security Department.
**Hierarchical report**: Leading Advisor to the CEO & Head of Business Intelligence & Business Integration.
**Functional report**: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Fulltime position.
- 3-5 years of IT experience in an information security role and supervisory role.
- Sound knowledge of the latest information security technologies.
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO\/IEC 27001, and NIST.
- Experience with Cloud computing across virtualized environments.
- Ability to document technical analysis and articulate and present outcomes to non-technical audiences in an engaging way.
- Certifications in field of information security, cyber security & risk management will be an advantage (e.g. ISO27001, CISSP, CISM, CRISC etc.).
- Experience in maritime security would be a plus.
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services.
- Adaptable individual and Team player.
- Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
- Coordinate the Cyber Security in Explora Journeys, in order to support the implementation of cyber security projects, in alignment with the Corporate Cybersecurity Department.
- Work with IT departments and business units, in order to:
- Improve the cyber security posture of the organization.
- Support the implementation of the cyber requirements given by the Corporate Cyber Security department.
- Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns: Identify risks on business initiatives and support business owners in managing them.
- Ensuring that newly-acquired technology complies with the IT security regulations, collaborating with the Corporate Cyber Security department. Promote the Cyber Security culture and awareness.
- Support the IT departments in the implementation of the cyber security countermeasures in alignment with the Cyber Security framework.
- Presenting regular feedback reports on the cyber security projects of Explora to the Corporate Cyber Security Department and to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
