**Introduction**:
The University of Lausanne (UNIL) is a higher teaching and research institution composed of seven faculties where 15,500 students and nearly 5,000 collaborators, professors, and researchers work and study. Ideally situated along the Lake of Geneva, near Lausanne's city center, its campus brings together over 120 nationalities.

**Presentation**:
A position as Research Coordinator is available to support a new research project entitled “Social resilience in the Sundarbans Delta: Eliciting Needs-based Grassroots Action through Cross-Group Engagement (ENGAGE)” funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation under the Solution-oriented Research for Development (SOR4D) program. The position is for 3 years, hosted at the Institute of Geography and Sustainability (IGD) and under the responsibility of Professor René Véron.

IGD is an interdisciplinary community of about 130 academics that work in the fields of Geography and Sustainability. With 27 professors and lecturers, and more than 60 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, the department offers a vibrant, stimulating environment for cutting-edge research. It hosts regular lecture series and distinguished guest researchers from around the world.
