Junior Accountant

For our Swiss headquarter in Cham, we are currently looking for an experienced, all rounded **Junior **Ac**countant** to temporarily support businesses.

**The Role**

This positions reports to the Finance Team Leader and will have frequent contact with other department of the Cham site staff (Customer Service, Supply Chain teams, cross-functional departments). Contact with other Catalent manufacturing sites and Catalent corporate departments will be required. You will be supporting Finance team with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, while being involved in other financial tasks analytics.

Key Tasks:
Maintain Company's book accuracy including:

- Execute payments, bank and expenses (control, process and reconciliation)
- Journal Entries and preparation for Month End closing process
- Intercompany Reconciliation - proactive role required to liaise with other Catalent affiliates.
- Balance Sheet and P&L Reconciliation
- Interface with customers for cash collection
- Support the Finance Team Leader in ensuring SOX compliance for the internal control system and external auditors.
- Support the Finance Team Leader in ensuring compliance to Cham standard operating procedures (SOP’s)

**The Profile**
- Entry level experience in similar roles ideally in Pharma industry, with experience on financial consolidation, Accounting or finance degree as a plus.
- Expertise on G/L, BS, and P&L, with good analytical skills to understand numbers.
- Organizational skills are critical, as well as prioritizing work in order to meet timetables and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and and ERP systems (JDE).
- A “can-do” attitude to work.
- Knowledge on US GAAP and AS 606 is an advantage.
- Knowledge on EU-VAT transactions is an advantage.
- 100% Fluent in English (both oral and written), Italian or German is an advantage.
