DPR Construction is seeking a Superintendent with 3-6 years construction experience for our projects in the Germany with location in Frankfurt. The Superintendent will work on data center development within our core markets: healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences and commercial. The superintendent will work closely with all members of the project team and will be responsible for the following:
- Create construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impacts.
- Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with neighbouring occupants.
- Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project occupancy milestones.
- Lead DPR’s injury-free environment safety program. Coordinate subcontractor work scopes, scheduling, and resource-loading in conjunction with DPR’s self-perform work crews.
- Foster the development of foreman to grow into future superintendents. Professionally represent DPR field operations as primary interface with owner and design team.
- Assist the superintendent and project manager in the implementation of DPR policies and the execution of the project.
- Participation in trainings and company meetings to facilitate individual and company growth.
- Monitoring the execution of the object for compliance with the public-law permit or approval, the contracts with executing subcontractors, the execution documents, the relevant regulations, and the generally recognised rules of technology.
- Monitoring the execution of load-bearing structures with very low and low planning requirements for compliance with the stability certificate
- Coordinate and collaborate with other team members involved in the supervision of the project
- Active participation in the overall Construction Meeting between with all subcontractors.
- Hold coordination meetings with your subcontractors and prepare meeting minutes.
- Assist the project planner in the preparation of the construction programme.
- Monitor the subcontractor and overall construction programme including 2/4 weeks look-ahead programs.
- Ensure that a documentation of the construction process (subcontractor construction diary) is prepared by the subcontractors and ensure they are loaded into the online system.
- Joint monthly progress reviews with the executing companies in preparation of the monthly invoices.
- Auditing of invoices including checking the measurements of the companies carrying out the work
- Comparison of the results of the invoice audits with the order totals including change orders.
- Organization of the acceptance of the construction work with the participation of others technically involved in the planning and object supervision, determination of defects, acceptance recommendation for the client
- Application for and participation in public acceptance inspections
- Systematic compilation of the documentation, drawings and calculated results of the object.
- Assist in the Handover to the client
- Listing the limitation periods for claims for defects
- Monitoring the elimination of defects identified during the acceptance procedure

We are looking for a field oriented flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Organized work approach with the ability to adapt and adjust as required to support the projects current needs.
- Detailed knowledge of the assigned project scopes with a 100% hands-on approach.
- A desire to seek out and resolve construction problems /conflicts that arise during design and construction phases.
- Goal-orientated approach to promptly coordinate and resolve project issues within the project team (including interfacing with designers, engineers, and owners).
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Effective participation in team environment.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (CMiC, Prolog or similar), scheduling software (Primavera or similar) and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
- A strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude and a passion for construction.
- Speaks English and German languages.
