Lugano, Schweiz Baronie Vollzeit

In this collaborative, connecting and active group position, you essentially act as our ‘control tower’, monitoring the group’s cocoa demand and coordinating its supply to the various production locations within our group.

You mediate when ‘bottlenecks’ arise and you make sure that essential information is distributed to all stakeholders within the group, and that all processes and tools are aligned in order to achieve optimal output.

The job

Besides the above-mentioned main responsibilities, the job includes (but is most certainly not limited to):
leading the monthly tactical planning process for cocoa flows, including the consolidation of updated sales forecasts for beans, semi-finished products and finished product needs for all factories;
chairing the Demand Review meeting, highlighting necessary arbitration decisions, documenting orientation and hypotheses taken and managing the associated action plan;
leading the monthly Supply-Process Review, in order to analyse need, load, capacity and stock to identify solutions to meet commercial needs while respecting WCR and profitability objectives;
**preparing and leading the monthly S&OP meeting**: carrying out the analysis of past month’s performance, risks and their impacts and presenting the different options and their financial impacts to management;
communicating management-level decisions and ensuring that they are integrated in the operational planning;
taking the lead in the development of an annual, 3-year strategic plan to ensure alignment between commercial strategy, industrial strategy and bean purchasing strategy;
developing a monthly basis for operationalizing the budget vs production & procurement.
has excellent interpersonal skills and is highly representative;
shines both independently and as part of a team;
is an excellent communicator in English and French, both verbal and written;
combines a high sense of ownership with a hands-on mentality, structured way of working and strong analytical skills;
has excellent negotiation skills;
has a sixth sense for potential risks (in relation to risk management);
has a strategic, bird’s-eye overview of the business, but also an eye for detail;
can break complex matters down for people of varying skillsets;
has 3 - 5 years of experience in (soft) commodities, food, or the financial industry;
has a completed Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Economics, Business Administration, Trade & Finance, Supply Chain).

**We offer you**:
A fully immersive role in our world of chocolate;
Fulltime opportunity in a global, growing group;
International exposure to contribute to the strategy within our business;
A challenging and diverse job position;
A good remuneration package;
Flexible working hours;
Training & career opportunities;
Lots of chocolate (and other yummy treats)
