Biospecimen Acquisition

**Roche Diagnostics Int Ltd **based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a qualified and motivated
**Biospecimen Acquisition & Data Manager** for a contract of 8 months.

The Biospecimen & Acquisition Management team (BAM) at Roche Diagnostics International is part of a global support team spanning Rotkreuz-Switzerland, Pleasanton-California, Penzberg - Germany and Tucson-Arizona.

The BAM team is a chapter within Roche Diagnostic Solutions which leads the acquisition and management of biological materials and its associated data to support the R&D activities. BAM collaborates with Roche Diagnostic Solutions (RDS) Networks to ensure that their internal customer requirements for biological materials are agreed to, via formal established processes, communicated to on a periodic basis, and met per commitment in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices, Good Clinical Data Management Practices, Quality, and Business standards.

**Tasks**:

- Gather requirements, develops sample collection protocols, negotiate collection study contracts, facilitate purchase requisitions, and collaborate with vendors to acquire biological materials to ensure flexible and successful delivery in compliance with Good Clinical Practices, Quality, Business and Industry best practices/ standards
- Maintain compliance with BSM processes, including but not limited to the collection and maintenance of legal regulatory and ethics documentation, generation of an accurate and complete data set, and maintaining information in a validated laboratory information management system for Good Clinical Practices and Quality Standards
- Assume responsibility for accuracy, quality, and timeliness of work within supported projects and responding appropriately to changing priorities
- Effectively interface with multiple stakeholders and/or internal and external clients to establish timelines and deliverables and meet defined project goals; May work with other team members/stakeholders to meet project deliverables
- Assume accountability for data entry into validated database(s), ensure that information is entered accurately and consistently, and according to established formats

**Must Haves**:

- Bsc/Msc/PhD in biological discipline or related field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- 2-5 years relevant experience in sample acquisition, data management, biobanking, clinical trial management
- Excellent data handling skills, proficient with MS Excel, experience with LIMS is a plus
- Very good organizational, written and verbal communication skills in English (min. B2), German is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Very good documentation skills and demonstrated close attention to detail
- Self-organized and solution driven individual who can maintain quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
