- Division: Medical Affairs- Job Type: Permanent roleWe are currently looking for a **Medical Affairs Manager** at our global headquarters in Geneva. Reporting to the Medical Affairs Lead, and working in close collaboration with the Brand Team, your mission is to contribute to the definition and to execute the global medical affairs strategy, while supporting the Bacterial Lysate team in the planning, execution and delivery of assigned projects/activities related to one of our key products in the Respiratory field.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

- Contribute to the formulation of the global medical affairs strategy by identifying unmet medical needs, providing critical medical insights, sharing ideas and thinking out of the box
- Think strategically to translate medical/clinical insights of treatment paradigms and preclinical insights of the product’s mode of action into growth opportunities and driving competitive advantage
- Support the Medical Affairs Lead on Medical Education initiatives such as the building up of a new entity from the concept design to the roll out, through the expert steering committee engagement, the web platform set up and the medical education programs creation, liaising with medical communication agencies and collaborating with marketing team and other internal stakeholders
- Take ownership of Medical Affairs operational activities for one of our key product including medical education programs, disease awareness programs, elaboration and execution of scientific and medical communication plan, management of scientific and educational materials and events (e.g. symposia, advisory boards, on-line events), in collaboration with the medical affairs manager, liaising with medical communication agencies and other stakeholders
- Establish good networking with international thoughts leader to perform medical education programs and other meeting or activities involving medical experts (e.g. Advisory boards) and informing regional senior managers/local medical directors
- Ensure adequate international KOLs scouting, mapping, and engagement in the respect of the compliance, rules, and regulations
- Perform active project management of assigned deliverables in line with the Global Operational Brand Plan and in agreement with the Medical Lead
- Contribute to the training on the product, disease and medical plan and ensure that this last is implemented by the regional senior managers and key partners
- Collaborate with the Medical Lead and marketing team on internal meetings and training sessions organization (including slide decks, presentations, and post-meeting minutes)
- Ensure synergies and collaboration with managers in the regions/affiliates and HQ marketing counterparts

When appropriate, business travels are required for this position (i.e. congress related activities), up to around 10% of working time.

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

- Higher degree (Master’s, Pharmacist, Engineer or PhD) in a Scientific or Medical field
- At least 8 years of experience in strategic and operational Medical Affairs, with expertise in medical education and scientific communication
- Experience working at a local or global pharmaceutical company
- Experience working in a cross-functional matrix and multicultural environment, with proven leadership skills
- Full fluency English, with, ideally, good French skills
