Assess request from clients to understand the scope and scale of the project.

Collaborate with engineers, industry experts to discuss feasibility and cost estimates.

Gather information on materials, labor, and other factors.

Quantify all cost factors involved in the project: identify labor, material, costs and time requirements by researching proposals, blueprints, and any related documents.

Analyze company data, monitor budgets and prices using software packages.

Use computer software to calculate cost estimates.

Prepare detailed cost estimate reports and present them.

Assessment of project budget vs cost estimation.

Review expenditure statements during all phases of the project.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar field.

Knowledge in accounting or relevant field is a plus.

Knowledge of foundry and engineering processes.

High-level mathematical and advanced analytical skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Proficiency in 3D software is a plus.

Efficiency in MS Excel and SAP.

Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Fluency in English and Italian, other languages are a plus.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Proven work experience as a cost estimator is a high plus.
