About the team you are joining

The BI Delivery and Data Management holds a portfolio of Business Intelligence solutions for the travel industry, including Direct Data Solutions (DDS). DDS is a key service supporting corporate planning, network planning, all essential airline commercial activities; main clients include airlines, airports, and travel agents. After the release of NGDDS IATA start to take over additional operational work and responsibility as NGDDS is an inhouse solution. NGDDS continued growth in the ticketing, this will drive then need for robust data solutions with increased automation and real-time data quality and checks. Reporting to the Manager Data Onboarding and Quality, the Assistant Manager, Data Quality will be responsible for NGDDS data consistency with a strong focus on new data quality dimensions and compliance to industry policies and IATA resolutions.

What your day would be like

The Assistant Manager, Data Quality responsibilities include:

- Monitor DDS data submissions and content using DDS Gate Quality Tools and NGDDS webtool
- Analyze, Identify, and resolve the data issues reported in DDS contributed files, coordinating with airlines and system providers to resolve the data issues as soon as possible and to prevent any data gaps and interruptions
- Create a bi-weekly report with DDS quality cases status and share it with BIS team
- Responsible for handling updates on Service Class Mapping and launching the annual campaign to ensure the content is updated for all DDS participants
- Making sure there is consistency between NG DDS (IGT) data and DDS feeds (ARC) on any quality cases
- Responsible for calculating the direct and indirect data coverage of NG DDS and doing the necessary updates in DDS Gate
- Owner of DDS Gate, ensuring everything is updated on weekly basis and publish to all users
- Responsible for any cases assigned in Jira and Salesforce taking the necessary actions to close them as soon as possible
- To update the DDS SharePoint with news CDLAs and NDC amendments
- Follow up with airlines on DDS data quality enhancement campaigns and work on the implementation
- Support BIS team with the operations of the commercial products, with the organization of DDS events

We would love to hear from you if
- University degree in engineering, business administration, or information technology, within the airline commercial content
- Experience in the airline industry in IT, ticketing, commercial or distribution capacity
- At least 3-year airline experience involving and leading IT projects to successful implementation
- A good knowledge on development under Cloud services such as Amazon and snowflake
- A good knowledge in database development and design using SQL
- Good BI Tool developer (Microsoft BI tool, Tableau, Google analytics)
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Good Knowledge of airline ticketing processes, sales distribution channels (NDC)
- Fully aware about the Airline sales process and reporting (HOT, RET, TCN)
- Written and oral communication proficiency in English and excellent overall communication and presentation skills.
