Associate Scientist

**Responsibilities**
- Independently handle analytical tasks described in project assignments, including troubleshooting and new analysis methods.
- Perform validations and cross-validations.
- Conduct cleaning validation.
- Create project-related documentation.
- Perform plausibility checks on all generated analysis results (accuracy of measured and documented results).
- Responsible for defined analysis equipment and creation of necessary quality documents.
- Meet deadlines (analysis duration, submission of released results, informing customers of delays).
- Independently optimize and validate methods, focusing on complex instrumental analytical methods such as chromatographic methods and spectroscopy.
- Adhere to quality assurance guidelines.
- Report all quality-relevant deviations (deviations, out-of-specification results).

**Requirements**:

- Swiss and/or European nationality or an already existing and valid work permit for Switzerland,
- Completed laboratory apprenticeship and at least 5 years of professional experience in an analytical laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of analytics and method validation.
- Excellent general knowledge of quality control techniques and methods, as well as laboratory equipment.
- Proficiency in working with laboratory data systems (chromatography, validation data systems, etc.).
- Sound understanding of method development, method validation, and method optimization.
- Good knowledge of GMP and broad understanding of the quality standards required in a cGMP environment.
- Proficiency in using PCs and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent German language skills and good English language skills
- Responsible and reliable.
- Team player with strong communication skills and flexibility regarding changing tasks and working hours.

Contract length: 11 months
