**PhD in epidemiology**
**60 % (full time PhD) **:The EBPI is the public health institute of UZH where we improve, implement, and teach cutting-edge research methods, providing evidence and context for informed health decisions. EBPI's four closely linked areas of activity combine teaching and research with evidence-based public health.

This PhD position is one of six PhD and Postdoc positions that we offer in the context of an interdisciplinary project funded by the SINERGIA mechanism of the Swiss National Science Foundation ("From single disease reductionist research to informed Machine Learning: a new research paradigm for multimorbidity).

**What we offer**: This position is embedded in the consortium of the SINERGIA project. Our consortium consists of leading scientists from Epidemiology (Milo Puhan, Viktor von Wyl, Miquel Serra Burriel), Particle Physics (Nicola Serra), Pharmacoepidemiology (Andrea Burden) and Mathematics (Alessio Figalli, Ashkan Nikeghbali) as well as Medicine (Cynthia Boyd, Oliver Senn, Gregory Lucas), Health Economy (Simon Wieser) and Computer Science (Andrey Ustyuzhanin).
