Intraday Asset Trader

Are you passionate about the fast-paced world of power trading? Are you a highly motivated, analytical thinker with a strong problem-solving mindset? We are seeking an Intraday Trader to join our dynamic 24/7 intraday team based in Olten and to contribute to the exciting and challenging world of power trading.
**Your main responsibilities**
- Optimize and trade our and third-parties assets portfolio on the intraday markets
- Intraday nominations to TSOs
- Proactively interact with relevant internal and external stakeholdrs (dispatching, asset optimization, short term trading, scheduling, business IT and clients) Operate in a 24/7 shift scheme, including regular night and weekend operations**Your profile**
- Technical or economical university degree
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in VBA/Excel and ideally Python
- Problem-solving oriented mindset to tackle complex trading challenges
- Experience in short-term or intraday energy markets is preferred
- Familiarity with the fundamentals and value drivers of spot and intraday markets in Europe
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a team and share knowledge and experience
- Fluency in English is mandatory, additional language skills in German, French, or Italian are highly beneficial
