HR Generalist

We’re looking for a growth-minded HR Generalist to join our HR team for the CHAT region, where you will operate as a first point of contact to Sony managers and employees across our Technology business areas and support with a broad range of HR matters, including contractors, employment law, payroll, mobility and migration and invoices.
As the interface to the employees, you will assume a crucial role in contributing to the perception and reputation of the wider HR Team. As such you will be responsible for the rapid and efficient resolution or escalation of their requests to ensure clarification. Your business groups ate from the scientific and engineering community and are very forward thinking and agile in their approach, and you should be someone who can balance this fast-paced expectation with the need for due process and top-quality practice in a large organisation.
You will join a highly collaborative team who maintain crystal clear communication and value an honest feedback culture. Your manager fully understands the complexities of your role and will support you to find solutions and navigate the business, while supporting your development goals.
You will:
- Provide first line HR support to managers and employees- Provide support during the full employee life cycle (New Hires, On/off Onboarding, Mobility, Terminations, Change of Conditions, Annual ASR & Bonus processes, etc.)- Provide “How to” process support to employees and managers regarding HR related queries- Collaborate with responsible Focus Areas (Corporate HR functions like Reward, Recruitment, Learning and Development, etc.), Country HR, and Vendors- Assume ownership for queries raised by employees and managers and be as a result responsible for opening and closing the queries (HR case management)- Prepare standard letters and contract amendments for promotions / contract changes- Support Country HR Head while implementing new HR projects on ad hoc basis
You will bring:
- Fluent English language skills, with German language a bonus.- Proven experience in HR advisory and administration, preferably in a multi-cultural and regional / global environment- Previous experience dealing with employee & manager queries relating to HR systems and processes- Experience managing workloads with conflicting priorities and complex stakeholder groups- Ability to balance workload with project work
