We are looking for a highly motivated junior post-doc to join our research groups in pharmacogenomics and liquid biopsy at the Department of Clinical Chemistry. Our re-search aims to understand mechanisms underlying inter-individual variability in drug re-sponse and other clinical outcomes. Our overall goal is to translate scientific knowledge into clinically useful predictive, prognostic, or diagnostic markers for the identification of individuals at risk of adverse drug reactions or of therapeutic failure, and thus, to contrib-ute towards treatments tailored more closely to patients' individual needs.

The junior postdoctoral position is intended to support researchers who have only recent-ly completed their PhD and aim to develop an independent, international research ca-reer. We offer a stimulating research environment in a multidisciplinary Institute, which is active both in research and clinical diagnostics, providing a unique opportunity to work in the growing field of precision medicine at the interface between research and its applica-tion in a diagnostic context. Our group works closely with other research groups in preci-sion medicine and genomics, offering the possibility for scientific exchange and collabo-ration in fields such as metabolomics. The position is currently limited to two years, can however be extended after successful evaluation with an option to lead own research projects
