Social Media and Community Manager

**About the Role**:
We’re seeking a charismatic, self-motivated community manager with a passion for the outdoors to join our team As the face and voice of our brand, you’ll need to be outgoing, empathetic, and able to cultivate lasting relationships with our community. You must have exceptional organisational skills, multitasking abilities, and a solid understanding of the latest social media trends and best practices. We value creativity and the ability to develop engaging content that resonates with our followers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a content marketing plan and editorial calendar to support our marketing strategies.
- Craft shareable and engaging content for social media, blogs, and newsletters.
- Foster a strong sense of community by responding to commentary in a timely and empathetic manner and engaging with our audience authentically.
- Organize and participate in events that build our brand and engage our community.
- Work closely with the brand manager and CMO to execute community initiatives and campaigns.
- Monitor social media metrics and analyse website traffic to track progress and identify opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and hot topics relevant to our brand and marketing activities.
**Qualifications**:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a genuine, plainspoken voice.
- Fluent in English with a high level of German being a bonus.
- International experience in English-speaking countries.
- Experience in the travel and sports industry.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and SEO.
- Strong judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to shape content and communications to target the ideal audience, not just build a larger one.
