Our client is a young and successfully operating and growing, international commodity trading company based in Zug (central location). We presently are recruiting a

experienced Accountant

Your chance of working independently in a small team of only 12 professionals, reporting directly to the CFO.

Tasks
- all day to day booking matters of the company in close cooperation with Trading, Treasury and Operations
- maintain and develop as per business needs the accounts frame and accounts plan
- manage the A/P and A/R and lists of provisions and accruals in close cooperation with Trading, Treasury and Trading
- deal with all VAT-matters of the company, including submitting VAT declarations to authorities, check invoices for European VAT and reconcile with all European VAT consultants,
- reconcile the monthly result with Trading/Operations and prepare the month end accounts (inclusive of trial balance, cashflow statement and P/L) as basis for the management reporting
- prepare the annual accounts (inclusive of trial balance, cashflow statement and P/L) as basis for the annual statutory audit done by the external auditors
- prepare the translation of the accounts for IFRS-consolidated accounts

Professional experience
- accountant background, gained in multi-year practical experience, preferably in a trading company
- experience with the accounting software WinBiz would be helpful, but is not a prerequisite
- good command of the English language, both in writing and speaking
