Intern Sales Associate Payments

**Responsibilities**:
SG Zurich Branch (SG Corporate and Investment Banking) provides innovative financial solutions, advisory services and capital market products serving the needs of its corporate, institutional and private clients. Present in Switzerland since 1927 SGCIB Zurich Branch offers local and cross-border expertise providing a full range of financial services to its clients with a particular focus on securities, services to foreign funds, trade finance and cash management services.

Société Générale Global Transaction Banking (GTB) includes payment and cash management, cash clearing services, trade services, factoring and foreign exchange services associated to these activities. GTB integrates all the expertise and services required to facilitate the daily transactional activities of major economic and financial actors both in a domestic and international scope.

**Mission**:
We are looking for a motivated Intern to support management and sales team for 6 to 10 months. As Sales Associate Payments & Cash Management Intern you will support the GTB/Payments & Cash Management team in Geneva in Marketing and Sales Activities with Corporates and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. You will report to the Head of the GTB Switzerland.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Assist Senior Sales Managers with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, response to request for proposals and updating client global account plans
- Credit reviews and Know your Customer Date collection: you will initiate and follow up on behalf of Sales the credit facilities approval process and assist in the collection of clients documentations for KYC purposes
- Work on regular reporting of client portfolios of the Senior Sales Managers, closely monitoring the development of the NBI and analysing and explaining deviations

**Profile required**:
**Studies & experience**:

- Graduate in a Master Degree in Economics or Finance
- Experience or interest in commercial banking / Working Capital Finance

**Language skills**:

- Fluency in English and French
- German - nice to have

**Technical, operational & Soft skills**:

- Very good analytical and quantitative skills
- Time management skills
- Organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
