In the context of a reorganization of Alpiq’s finance function, we have now created the role of Head Group Accounting. This function will lead a group of experts providing external IFRS reporting, IFRS consolidation and master data expertise for the whole group as well as group accounting guidelines and manuals. The role reports to the Head Accounting and is to be based at our offices in Olten, Switzerland.

**Your main responsibilities**
- Providing accounting guidelines and manuals for the Group
- Advising on complex IFRS and accounting questions across the Group (including in M&A transactions)
- Group-wide implementation of new and revised accounting standards
- Performing legal consolidation for the group
- Providing external IFRS reporting
- Managing the execution of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in accordance with Standards and Practice
- Interacting with internal and external auditors in completing audits
- Representing Alpiq in specialist bodies (Swissholdings Expert Group Financial Reporting, VSE IFRS Working Group)

**Your qualificiations**
- Higher education in Finance (University or equivalent)
- At least 8-10 years of accounting experience, incl. several years in consolidation and IFRS reporting, knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss GAAP FER
- Previous people management experience preferred
- Great attention to detail and ability to deal with high levels of complexity, coupled with a pragmatic problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Fluency in English and German required, French would be a plus
