Joining IT Consumer

The IT Consumer and Commercial team plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers.

When you join this team, you will work in a dynamic, diverse and warm environment. You will be exposed to all stages of software delivery in a team combining experts across multiple fields from Project & Portfolio Management through to Architecture, Solution Management and DevSecOps.

Our portfolio consists of multiple cutting-edge technologies in Web, Commerce or CRM, enabling a truly seamless omnichannel experience for our consumers. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of cloud solutions and gain valuable hands-on experience working side by side with the top technology providers.

As Domain Architect Tech Transformation, you will also ensure the efficient and effective elaboration, validation, and communication of strategic architecture evolution supporting a composable architecture covering product, process, data and skills. You will guarantee that the right investments in IT are made from an architecture perspective to sustain the transformation to reusable digital capabilities

Your day to day:

- Envision the capabilities roadmap from decomposing the current digital platforms into distinct reusable capabilities that can be built & maintained with a product-based organization. This will include the definition of practices (like engineering, QA, release,) to succeed in such operating model
- Advise global business owners during business processes definition to improve the usage of standard technology solution functionalities
- Collaborate with other teams to develop detailed and complete functional specifications for complex uses cases within the B2C & B2B2C technology landscape
- Work with multiple teams to define, improve the DevSecOps framework that must be adopted within your domain.

Minimum Requirements:
What you’ll bring to the role:

- University degree or adequate equivalent work experience in B2C IT domain.
- Minimum 10+ years of B2C technology solutions implementation experience across a variety of areas (Consumer lifecycle, Customer Care, Digital & Social Engagement, Omnichannel Commerce, etc.)
- Deep expertise on architecture transformation, monolith decomposition, evolutionary architecture and working in a product-based setup
- Extensive experience delivering solutions within B2C domain including validated project contributions as a Solution Architect.
- Strong Enterprise IT architecture background (processes, data, methodologies, frameworks).
- 10 years’ experience performing architecture design, end-to-end solution delivery, implementing IT process improvement.
- Validated experience as a consultant, with experience rolling out projects internationally Involved with at least two end-to-end full lifecycle projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident, with the ability to influence and persuade
- Analytical and results focused
- Experience of both reacting to and of solving problems
- An understanding of how complex matrix organisations operate; international experience is an advantage
